Living Pictures By Tony Stanton:
Your Local ‘Landscape Designers Near Me‘.

Trusted for over 30 years, using an innovative, problem-solving approach to landscape design , Tony Stanton can take your vision, discussed during the initial concept design session at your house, and make it a reality.

You’ll notice from our portfolio of landscape design, we’ve helped clients down Adelaide’s southern suburbs to Victor Harbor, along the coast of Adelaide’s western suburbs, up and down the Adelaide Hills including the eastern suburbs of Adelaide, and out to Gawler.

If you are looking for a landscape designer, Tony now works with homeowners across Melbourne’s north-east, east, south-east and outer east to Coldstream.

There are 3 steps to the landscape design process and as your landscape designers adelaide offers all of them as individual services.
It all starts with clients booking a concept design session. The meeting lasts for about 90 minutes at your house, where you and Tony talk about the vision you have for your backyard makeover, new front garden, or both.

The many aspects of what you have in mind are discussed, such as the garden style.
Are you after a formal look or is a more informal native garden appearance more you?
What features or garden design elements you’d like to include cover physical items such as swimming pools or spas, water fountains, statues, fire pits, pizza ovens, and the like?
Also covered, is a conversation that covers who’ll be using the garden and for what purpose.
Do you need different areas of the garden for different family members such as a lawn area for children to play with an outdoor entertaining area for the grown-ups with an additional space where the family can come together?

Factoring all this into consideration and more, Tony will start sketching a concept design plan or vision of what the proposed result could look like, taking what you want and the size of the garden to work with into account.

These are examples of what was produced for a couple living within the Fleurieu Peninsula.

Please note: Sometimes both a concept vision & concept plan may not be sketched which often depends on the needs of the client. The level of detail may also vary depending on the complexity and nature of the garden makeover discussed.

Some homeowners want working drawings to scale that show the intended hardscape work and the proposed plants and their locations.

Living Pictures By Tony Stanton produces two sets of plans. The first one completed is called a ‘Hardscape Plan’ which details all the physical or construction work including paving, timber decking, privacy screens, pool, etc.
Also shown are the description and quantities required. The second is referred to as a ‘Softscape Plan’ detailing the amount, name, and location of all the plants.

To know what type of pavers to include, how elaborate the water feature is, what size statues, and how large the pool can be for example, apart from the size restraints of the block, your budget must be known.
All of these items vary dramatically in price. Knowing what amount you’re happy to spend for all the landscaping work required will impact the design layout.
To have what’s planned for come to fruition, it has to be affordable for you to complete.

These plans show an example of one of the garden design solutions Tony came up with for a couple at Victor Harbor who wanted an informal Australian native-style garden.

Once you are completely happy with the layout and detail shown on the plans, it’s time for the last step and most exciting part of the landscape design process. The actual landscaping .
Tony can take away all the stress of having to find and get quotes from landscapers and builders, save you time hunting down the plants and other materials required to complete the project, plus ensure all the work is completed correctly and according to the plans using licensed professionals by handling all the logistics for you.

All you have to do is sit back and watch your initial vision turn into the ‘Living Picture’ that’s been planned for.

These pictures show the final result enjoyed by the Victor residents who took advantage of all 3 services Living Pictures By Tony Stanton offers.
